MOUNT JULIET, TN, March 2024 – Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds leader and songwriter Arleigh Kincheloe has joined the Lanikai Ukuleles artist roster, continuing her longtime trust in Lanikai instruments.

“The first time I picked up a Lanikai ukulele, it was love at first strum,” says Arleigh. “Not only are they GORGEOUS and beautifully made, they really look and sound the part on stage.”

Arleigh Kincheloe, known for her electrifying performances and soulful songwriting, has brought a new project to life with her brother Jackson. Following a hiatus from touring during the COVID-19 pandemic, Arleigh has returned to her roots in the Hudson Valley, igniting a fresh chapter in her musical career. Drawing from recent experiences, from the joys of motherhood to the challenges of isolation, Arleigh brings a raw emotional honesty to her new songs.

For over a decade, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds have captivated audiences with their explosive modern soul sound. With five studio albums and countless electrifying live performances, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds have shared stages with acts such as Allen Stone, Trombone Shorty, JJ Grey, and Anders Osborne.

Now Arleigh Kincheloe steps into the spotlight with her own project, simply known as “Arleigh Rose”. This offering of old and new songs showcases a more personal side of the artist, providing audiences with a deeper understanding of the woman behind the “Sister Sparrow” persona.
